There are organizations in place that work together with law enforcement agencies to bring fraud into the courtroom. The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) has a partnership with the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The IFCC tracks and identifies fraud trends; collects, manages, and disseminates fraud cases; and ensures that fraud complaints are directed to law enforcement agencies to aid in investigation and prevention (IFCCFBI).
