Continuing throughout its sixteen year history, QuarkXPress has been the tool of choice for leading edge design in newsletters, websites, brochures, catalogs, flyers, signs, cards, envelops, business forms, calendars, labels, and many more publications. Originally designed for the Macintosh, XPress has expanded its user-friendly interface to the PC, and today over four million individuals and businesses worldwide utilize its ingenious features. It continues to combine text, graphics, and video into valuable rich content. While there are some programs that rival QuarkXPress, it is still considered "A Safe Upgrade in Dangerous Times" [Gable, 2003].
